Chapter 141: A Bountiful Harvest

Seeing Ye Hai's actions, several people turned pale with fright. They immediately wanted to strike at Ye Hai.

Ye Hai leisurely strolled over to the corpse of a survivor whose upper body had been blown away by Javier, and pulled out a second-generation parasite from its back. The moment these survivors had been parasitized by the Xenomorphs, Ye Hai had immediately suspended their biological activity to prevent them from reviving and spawning terrifying Xenomorphs later on. Now, they could be put to secondary use.

When Li Ya recovered from her daze once more, the parasite had already entered her body.

The final Black-robed Pope, Lucar, was dealt with by Ye Hai in the exact same fashion, leaving him entirely devoid of any ability to resist.

Ye Hai turned his head to look at the corpses of the Goblins and Xenomorphs that had nearly blocked the entire corridor, and smiled faintly. He summoned five vampires and had them carry the four popes out of the corridor.

Seeing the popes flying out of the tunnel, Javier, Leanna, and the others immediately prepared to strike. Fortunately, the vampires transformed into bats were exceptionally agile; even while carrying a person, they managed to nimbly dodge the attacks. It was only after Ye Hai signaled them to halt their assault that the four popes landed safely on the ground.

Ye Hai smiled faintly and addressed the four popes: "The four of you will immediately lead the Holy Crusaders and guide all survivors of the Ironwood Forest Black Market away from this place... Head to our Corpse-Collector camp!"

With that, Ye Hai waved his hand to summon the Veronica combat team as well. "I will have the vampires carry you to fly toward the camp. Tell George to prepare warm clothing and quickly come to meet us! With tens of thousands of people, keeping them alive will be of immense use!"

At this moment, Ye Hai was clearly in a high spirit. These were elite Snake Guards dispatched under the orders of ARMY-3, the Serpent Lord, to investigate the secret experimental base of Karan Biological Genetics Corporation. Each of them possessed the formidable physical body of an eighth-stage mutant, along with psionic powers surpassing those of the four popes.

After scouting around for a cycle, these elite Snake Guards gathered together once more.

"All the ventilation shafts leading to the entrance plaza of the experimental base have been completely sealed."

"Not a single living soul can be found throughout the entire Ironwood Forest Black Market!"

"If the Serpent Lord's senses are not mistaken, a major anomaly must have occurred below."

"Should we reopen the ventilation shafts?"
