Chapter Forty-Three: G Ye Hai

"You'll understand soon enough!"

"As for what happened with Mr. Zella?"

"From your actions earlier, it looked like you were ready to abandon him!"

"You know, we still have many deals to conduct through him..."

Ye Hai turned his head, sizing up Zella as he spoke.

Qiao curled her lip and replied, "Our dear Mr. Zella has already been discarded by the Underflow Organization!"

"I suppose all the promises he made before are now worthless!"

"But the people from Giant Tree Star found me... They're willing to take over the deal in full!"

"At least, finally, some good news, right?"

At Qiao's words, Zella's face turned deathly pale.

If Ye Hai abandoned him as well, he would lose his last hope for survival.

Ye Hai cast a cold glance at Zella.

"Mr. Zella, you can start praying for Liana now!"

"If she manages to control the virus and becomes the sixth Corpse Catcher..."

"Her loved ones will be your only bargaining chip for survival!"

"If she fails..."

"You know, on Zombie Star, three hundred mouths are an enormous burden! I have no interest in shouldering a completely irrelevant liability!"

"Two Corpse Catchers recruited in a single outing... What kind of reward do you think the boss ought to give me?"

Qiao was thoroughly convinced by Ye Hai. No wonder the boss devoted herself to research and left all the management to Ye Hai... Was he planning to poach talent right from under Giant Tree Star's nose?

Suddenly, noticing the metallic lines on Javier's right arm, Qiao had a realization!

"You're after his antimatter armor, aren't you?"

Ye Hai chuckled. "So that's what it's called, antimatter armor..."

"I just thought it packed quite a punch!"

"Especially that silver-white spiral shoulder-mounted cannon..."

"Aren't you interested?"

Qiao rubbed her hands together, a sly grin on her face.

"Firing a round now and then is quite satisfying!"

But after a moment's thought, she glanced at the unconscious Javier.

"What if he refuses to join?"

Ye Hai laughed. "I'll make him see reason!"

"If he survives the T-virus and evolves but still doesn't want to join us Corpse Catchers..."

"I'll see to it that the T-virus inside him erupts the moment he returns to Giant Tree Star!"

"The First Defense Army's Second Legion Commander isn't an idiot! So, I believe he understands 'reason'!"

Qiao stared at Ye Hai, finally understanding... So that's what 'reasoning' meant!

Thinking back to the other Corpse Catchers, it seemed that's how they 'reasoned' with people too...

Suddenly, Qiao realized she might be the most out-of-place one among them all!

After everything was arranged, Ye Hai's smile faded.

He turned to check on Liana...

In that short time, Liana's neck had already fully transformed into a queen ant's body!

Her twisted, contorted human face was now perched awkwardly atop a massive ant torso...

It looked utterly bizarre.

His gaze shifted to the distant battlefield.

The thralls once enslaved by the Queen Bee, Aretta, were now completely under Liana's control!

Even among the Queen's offspring, some had begun to turn their weapons on their former comrades...

Ye Hai crouched down, placing a hand on the ruined T-103 Tyrant.

Before the others' horrified eyes, the NE-alpha parasite slid from Ye Hai's arm.

A small segment burrowed into the Tyrant's body... then deliberately tore itself apart.

This was the NE-alpha parasite's method of asexual reproduction!

A tiny bud formed inside the Tyrant, and within a few months, a second-generation NE-alpha parasite would burst from the host.

The Tyrant would serve as the nurturing ground for the parasite's larva!

Seeing the NE-alpha parasite's disgusting behavior for the first time, Qiao made a face of utter revulsion.

Ye Hai caught her naked disgust at once.

At that, Qiao instinctively took a few steps back, eyeing the NE-alpha parasite as it slithered back into Ye Hai's body in terror!

As Ye Hai teased Qiao...

The Queen Bee Aretta could finally no longer tolerate seeing the swarm she had cultivated over twenty years, along with her mutated slaves, snatched away by Liana the Ant Queen...

Turning into a rainbow flash, she charged straight toward Liana.

A grave look flashed in Ye Hai's eyes...

With a powerful leap, he landed atop Liana's massive form.

Silently, he called to the system...

"System, fuse the T-virus with the NE-alpha parasite inside me!"

"Activate the G-virus module!"

At Ye Hai's command, the system responded instantly...

All the T-virus in Ye Hai's body surged into the NE-alpha parasite!

In the next moment, Ye Hai's right arm swelled into a massive Kirin arm, a full meter in diameter.

Simultaneously, his body grew even taller—an extra meter on top of the already three-and-a-half-meter-tall Super Tyrant!

Every muscle bulged to the extreme.

At last, a fissure split open at Ye Hai's right shoulder, and from it, a massive, fifty-centimeter-wide eyeball bulged forth!

The eye darted around the battlefield, finally locking onto the airborne Queen Bee Aretta!
