Chapter 132: Willing to Fall from Heaven for You 17
"The aura is outside," said Gousheng.
Le Yixian looked toward the doorway. The courtyard outside was bustling with activity; several chefs were busy with a barbecue, and the alluring scent of grilled food permeated the air. She scanned the area but could not catch a glimpse of her "little cutie."
"Where is it?" Le Yixian asked.
"Over there," Gousheng directed, pointing the way.
Le Yixian followed its lead into the garden. Lin Xuan’s courtyard was vast, with one section filled with rose bushes. The cold moonlight spilled over the flowers, casting a hazy, ethereal glow.
"Master is right ahead!" Gousheng’s voice was filled with excitement.
Le Yixian quickened her pace, only to stop dead in her tracks as she saw two figures locked in an embrace inside a pavilion.
"Gousheng, are you certain?" Le Yixian asked, staring at the pair in the pavilion.
Gousheng replied, "...I am certain!"
Its entire system was in chaos, countless lines of code flickering within its data. *Oh heavens, Master is... Master is cheating! And he’s been caught by the Mistress. Poor Mistress, boo-hoo...*
Le Yixian stared at the two in the pavilion; she was familiar with both of them. One was the host of the evening, Lin Xuan, and the other was An Mira.
"He cannot be your master," Le Yixian said, casting one more look at the intensely kissing couple before turning to walk away.
Gousheng: "..." It cautiously wondered if the Mistress had been so traumatized that she was refusing to accept reality.
"Are you sure he is your master?" Le Yixian asked again.
"The Master's aura is indeed coming from there," Gousheng answered weakly.
Le Yixian was silent for a moment. "If that is truly the case, we will get a divorce once we get out of here."
Gousheng: "QAQ~~~" *Master, you deserve this.*
"Mistress, please don't be angry. A malicious system must have invaded earlier; perhaps the Master's thoughts were controlled or misled, making him believe that girl was you. The Master has always loved you," Gousheng attempted to explain for its master.
"That's enough. I will investigate this thoroughly. You go back to repairing the exit," Le Yixian said in a flat tone.
Gousheng was deeply worried. It wanted to say something, but held its tongue. Human emotions were so complex, causing them, as artificial intelligences, great headaches and confusion.
Le Yixian sat on a garden bench, deep in thought. She suddenly recalled something: in the Hebrew mythology series, it was said that shortly after Jehovah created the world, the first angel he made with his own hands was Lucifer. In the legends, the "Light of the Morning Star" resembled God very closely because God had created Lucifer in his own image. Thus, it was perfectly normal for Lucifer to look like God.
Does that mean Lucifer could also be Ke Yuandao?
Le Yixian buried most of her face in her hands. If Ke Yuandao really were Lin Xuan, then she...

"Yixian, what are you doing here?"
Le Yixian looked up and met Huang Ze’s concerned gaze. She twitched her lips into a faint smile. "It’s nothing. I was just a bit tired and came here for some peace and quiet."
"???" Huang Ze looked at her and said, "You aren't happy."
"Mhm," Le Yixian nodded. "I learned something, and I'm a bit confused."
An unidentified system intrusion that could potentially influence Ke Yuandao’s thoughts—this matter was quite serious.
"Does it have to do with the person you like?" Huang Ze asked.
Le Yixian nodded. "I miss him."
"..."
"I haven't seen him at all since I arrived here," Le Yixian said. "I thought I would be able to see him when I came here."
Huang Ze’s heart tightened. "Do you want to see him that much?"
Le Yixian looked at Huang Ze, feeling a sudden urge to confide. "Someone just told me that Lin Xuan is that person."
Huang Ze: "..."
...
Lin Xuan, who was busy getting intimate with his newly confirmed girlfriend, felt a chill run down his spine.
An Mira, held in his arms, noticed her boyfriend stiffen and asked, "What's wrong?"
"I don't know why, but I suddenly felt a chill," Lin Xuan said.
...
"Who said that??" Huang Ze asked.
"I was just thinking: if Lin Xuan really is that person, should I slaughter him first, or slaughter An Mira first?" Le Yixian lowered her head slightly. "Or maybe, just slaughter them both?"
In any case, An Mira was not a protagonist she had written, nor was she her daughter.
...
An Mira, who was about to comfort her boyfriend, also felt a chill down her spine. She shivered. "It feels a bit cold here."
"Yeah, why don't we go back?" Lin Xuan nodded.
The newly official couple held hands and decided to return to the villa to continue their romance.
...
"Lin Xuan is not the person you are looking for," Huang Ze said.
Le Yixian looked up at him. "How do you know?"
"I just know. It’s not him, anyway." Huang Ze replied stiffly, adding with full disdain, "Lin Xuan isn't handsome at all."
"Pfft, is that so?" Le Yixian covered her mouth and chuckled. "I also think he doesn't look much like him, but my friend didn't seem to be lying."
Recalling Lin Xuan’s daily behavior, there wasn't a trace of her "little cutie" in him. Instead... Le Yixian glanced at Huang Ze and thought silently, *When this Baal turns into an ordinary person, he looks a bit like him.*
***
*Right,* Le Yixian felt a spark of hope. She remembered that this guy had come from the direction of the pavilion earlier. She called out to Gousheng: "Gousheng, is this person your master?"
Gousheng popped up: "Mistress, it’s not him. He doesn't have the Master’s aura."
Gousheng silently grumbled to itself, *How could this short, mediocre-looking guy be its tall and handsome Master?*
Le Yixian nodded. "I see."
She said to Huang Ze, "Can you take off your glasses?"
A flash of hesitation crossed Huang Ze’s face, but as he met her gaze, he nodded. "I can."
As the glasses were removed, his appearance remained quite ordinary.
Gousheng: "Still no Master’s aura."
Le Yixian was silent for a moment before saying, "Fine, I understand. Go back to your work, and don't pop up unless necessary."
Gousheng felt it had been implicated by its fickle Master and could only submerge itself with a "QAQ."
"Is this really what you look like?" Le Yixian asked the boy before her.
Huang Ze did not intend to hide it from her. "No."
Le Yixian nodded. "Mhm, let's go back."
The treatment system had been compromised. Although the goal was unclear, it was obvious that the person behind the scenes did not want her to recognize her "little cutie." Therefore, the mastermind had altered her "little cutie's" appearance—and changed him into the two types she liked the least.
Whether it was the disguised, ordinary-looking Huang Ze or the true form of Baal, neither was her type.
This treatment plan was indeed dangerous. Her entire existence was within this system, and even her memories could potentially be read.
"Huang Ze," Le Yixian called out suddenly as they walked.
Huang Ze looked at her, confused.
"Let's date!" Le Yixian said, the corners of her mouth curling upward.
Huang Ze: "..."
His emotions were complicated. Had she discovered his identity? Who told her?
"Cough, didn't you say you liked the person on your phone?" Huang Ze asked, wondering if she had figured it out.
"Oh, I don't like him anymore," Le Yixian answered with a flat tone.
Huang Ze: ?????
