Chapter 141: I Would Fall from Heaven for You 25
"Michael, hand over Angel's soul," came a grim voice as a man clad in magnificent black attire slowly descended from the sky.
Black wings unfurled behind him, his handsome face frozen like ice, and his cold gaze fixed upon the angels before him. "Release Angel's soul."
Yue Yixian's hands tightened slightly. This man's appearance was indeed that of her little sweetheart after growing up. Gabriel stepped forward first to refuse, "Angel's soul is a task entrusted to us by the Father. She was originally a little angel of Heaven, so naturally, we cannot hand her over to you."
"Give her to me," Lucifer's eyes narrowed. "Do not make me say it a third time."
With a crisp clang, Yue Yixian drew her heavy sword, confronting him directly, and said to the other three, "You take her soul and return first."
"We will stay and help as well," Raphael volunteered.
"Follow them back. I fear there may be other pursuers along the way," Yue Yixian said in a low voice.
"Michael, are you certain?" Lucifer hovered in mid-air, looking down condescendingly at the red-haired female angel before him.
"I am certain," Yue Yixian gripped her heavy sword with both hands, thinking secretly: I absolutely cannot let you take Amira's soul back to Hell. What if something happens?
Furthermore, Yue Yixian gritted her teeth. In her angelic form, she looked different from her real self, and Lucifer evidently did not recognize her.
Amidst their conversation, the light of a teleportation array flared to life.
Lucifer's pupils contracted slightly, and black lightning poured down like a torrential rain.
Yue Yixian cast a barrier, and the three figures in the teleportation array wore expressions of worry. "Michael!!"
"Go quickly!" Yue Yixian stood with her back to them without looking back.
Gabriel opened her mouth as if to speak, but Raphael beside her stopped her and shook her head. "We must trust her."
The teleportation array activated, and a white light flashed. When the light dissipated, the array was completely empty.
"Michael, do you think I dare not kill you!" Lucifer watched the red-haired angel blocking his path and slowly descended from the sky.
Yue Yixian looked at the man before her and put away her heavy sword. "Huang Ze!"
A flicker of emotion crossed Lucifer's face, only to vanish quickly. "I am not Huang Ze."
Yue Yixian: "..."
"Are you sure?" Yue Yixian asked him.
Lucifer said nothing. He raised his hand slightly as black lightning slowly formed in his palm, shooting straight toward Yue Yixian.
Cursing inwardly, Yue Yixian leaped backward, narrowly avoiding the lightning attack. Sensing a fierce aura rapidly closing in, she instinctively raised her heavy sword to block.
*Clang!!*
The ornate longsword collided with the thick heavy sword, sending sparks flying.
"A fine block," Lucifer said, increasing the force behind his hands.
With a heavy thud, Yue Yixian sank downward, a small pit forming beneath her feet.
*Damn it,* Yue Yixian bent her body slightly, deflected the force, and kicked out. Lucifer easily evaded the blow, and then he performed an unexpected action—he hurled his weapon directly at her.
Lucifer was utterly puzzled by her maneuver, but the sheer force of a heavy sword personally bestowed by God was no joke. He recalled his longsword to block the incoming heavy sword, only to raise his eyes and see a fist driving forward with fierce wind.
The punch came too abruptly. Since Lucifer mostly engaged in magical combat and rarely resorted to close-quarters combat, this sudden brawl caught him completely off guard. Unaccustomed to hand-to-hand combat, Lucifer took a direct hit to his handsome face.
Lucifer was dumbfounded. No one had ever struck his face before. When he served as the vice-ruler in Heaven, he was second only to one and above ten thousand; even when Jehovah cast him down into Hell, He had never dared to touch his face.
Once he fell into Hell and became Satan, it went without saying—no one dared to provoke him.
Lucifer's face, which had previously been utterly indifferent to this battle, darkened instantly.
Yue Yixian, equally surprised that her strike had landed, was also dazed. Just as she was about to speak, black lightning washed over her like a deluge.
Before she had time to raise a defensive shield, she was struck, experiencing the sensation of being scorched on the outside and tender on the inside by lightning.
The massive bolt of lightning instantly caused her to lose consciousness, and she fainted.
Lucifer lowered his head to gaze at the unconscious red-haired angel, a gloomy expression flashing in his eyes as black lightning crackled and snapped around his body.
"Oh my, Mr. Lucifer, please stop," suddenly, a young man in Taoist robes appeared out of thin air, smiling as he blocked Lucifer's path.
Lucifer's expression grew even darker. He gave the youth a sinister look and remained silent.
"Mr. Lucifer, you cannot kill Lord Michael here. Otherwise, it will be very difficult for us to explain things to Mr. Jehovah. You mustn't make things difficult for us," the youth said.
Lucifer sneered, "Since when did you people become Jehovah's running dogs?"
The youth waved the fan in his hand and shook his head repeatedly. "No, no. As the Chief Seraph of Heaven, Lady Michael holds an extremely high status. If something were to happen to her here, it would trigger a severe diplomatic crisis. Therefore, she cannot die here."
"Troublesome," Lucifer frowned slightly. With a thought, the unconscious red-haired angel floated into mid-air. "I'll take her to Hell with me, that should suffice."
"That is not a problem, but..." The youth wore an expression of hesitation.
Noticing his demeanor, Lucifer asked impatiently, "Does returning to my own territory concern you people?"
"Not at all," the youth said. "Driven by sheer gossip, I would like to ask—did the two of you have a falling out?"
Lucifer sneered, "Have you ever seen anyone from Hell and Heaven getting along?"
"I have," the youth nodded.
A cold light flashed in Lucifer's eyes. "Who!"
Right now, with the soul of the person he cared about suddenly snatched away, his inner anger was blazing. Since someone was walking right into the line of fire, he wouldn't hold back.
The youth looked at Lucifer and pointed right at him. "You yourself, Mr. Lucifer."
Lucifer: "..."
He turned around and directly activated a teleportation array, preparing to leave without paying any more attention to the Taoist-robed youth.
The youth glanced at the unconscious red-haired angel and remarked, "Tsk tsk, clearly you were kissing and hugging in my territory just recently, and now you're actually fighting and trying to murder her to silence witnesses. Truly, love is not to be trusted."
Lucifer paused in his tracks, his gaze locking onto him. "What do you mean?"
"Well, didn't you know? Lady Michael disguised herself as a human in the Eastern realm," the youth said with a look of surprise. "The name she used while walking in the mortal realm was Yue Yixian..."
Before he could finish, the youth's gentle expression instantly shifted. With a *swish*, he opened the fan in his hand, blocking a blast of incoming black lightning.
Having blocked the attack, the youth noticed that his beloved fan was charred black on one side, and his heart ached. "Mr. Lucifer, if you don't believe it, fine, but there's no need to attack me."
Seeing that the man before him still looked ready to strike, he thought to himself: *I can't afford to mess with this, I really can't.* Dropping one final sentence, he scurried away: "You can just ask Lady Michael!"
