Chapter 85: So This Is Who You Truly Are, Su Cheng!
The battle between Su Cheng and Kazama Yewang seemed brief, but in truth, he had already unleashed his full strength. If the Dark Knight had been able to withstand his assault and counterattack, Su Cheng’s situation would have become extremely perilous.
After the intense fight, the soreness from overexerted muscles set in. Su Cheng took a shower to wash away his fatigue, changed into clean clothes, and left his apartment to find something to eat.
His usual range of activity was around Shinjuku; unless there was something urgent, he rarely wandered into other parts of Tokyo. The city’s transportation costs were outrageous—taxis were out of the question, and even the subway was much more expensive than back home.
Poverty had become the fence confining Su Cheng in Tokyo.
Inside a Golden Arch fast-food restaurant specializing in fried chicken burgers, Su Cheng ordered five Big Mac combo meals in one go, which left the young cashier stunned.
Ever since becoming a professional, Su Cheng’s body had been transformed by the horror games—his strength and vitality far surpassed that of ordinary people. If he continued to evolve, perhaps tearing a mecha apart with his bare hands would no longer be just a fantasy.
But this came with a price: his appetite had grown monstrously. He needed to take in an enormous amount of energy each day. If not for the reward he’d earned from helping Yagami Wei clear a dungeon last time, he might not even have been able to afford a meal.
In less than ten minutes, Su Cheng devoured all five Big Mac combos. Compared to the dainty, meager portions of Japanese cuisine, he much preferred burgers that could quickly provide abundant energy—fast, filling, and cheap.
Just then, a black imported Mercedes sedan pulled up outside. A young man, dressed in a butler’s suit, stepped out and entered the restaurant.
He was rather handsome, though his skin was unnaturally pale, giving him an air of chronic frailty. His attire was impeccably British, meticulous in every detail, yet so out of place amid the fast-food setting.
What caught Su Cheng’s attention was that this man didn’t go to the counter to order, but headed directly for him.
“Mr. Su Cheng, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Gui Fang Shenxu,” the young man introduced himself with a polite smile.
Indeed, he looked as frail as his name suggested.
“To what do I owe the pleasure?”
Su Cheng’s brow arched. This butler-like young man was clearly no ordinary person; Su Cheng sensed an intense, almost overwhelming stench of blood on him.
This man had killed—or perhaps even eaten—people.
“My master has asked me to deliver this invitation. She requests your presence at tonight’s banquet,” Gui Fang Shenxu said, handing him a card.
Su Cheng examined the invitation. It appeared to be for an ordinary gathering, but he could sense something off.
“Tulip Mansion? But I don’t know your master.”
Gui Fang Shenxu maintained his polite smile and replied respectfully, “My master said that if you refuse, she will come to invite you herself. But by then, I’m afraid you’ll have to pay a price.”
Su Cheng’s brows knitted, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
The message was clear: if you don’t show some respect, my master will come and deal with you personally.
Since they’d been able to pinpoint his location so accurately, they must know all about him. Unless he left Tokyo, there was no way to shake them off if they were determined to cause trouble.
But who, exactly, wanted to deal with him?

Su Cheng only wanted to spend his student days in Tokyo in peace. Since someone had chosen to make trouble for him, he would simply have to deal with the source of the trouble.
“I’ll be there on time.”
Receiving his answer, Gui Fang Shenxu bowed slightly and left, returning to the Mercedes.
Night fell, and endless horrors spread through the dazzling metropolis of Tokyo.
At Tulip Mansion, Su Cheng arrived at the doors in a Nike tracksuit, only to be stopped by a security guard.
“Sir, this is a private venue.” The guard blocked Su Cheng as soon as he saw his casual attire. Guests at Tulip Mansion were usually high society, and it was unheard of for someone to show up in sportswear.
But the guard had no idea that Su Cheng was not here to drink or mingle with the elite.
He was here to kill.
Su Cheng presented the invitation from Gui Fang Shenxu. Once the guard verified its authenticity, he led him inside with a look of surprise.
In the banquet hall, young, elegantly dressed ladies gathered in small groups, drinking and chatting in a lively atmosphere. Around them were numerous men in tailored suits—sons of wealthy families.
When these scions saw Su Cheng enter in sportswear, they were momentarily stunned, then sneered with open disdain.
Su Cheng ignored their contemptuous looks, unwilling to engage in any pointless drama. He simply took a drink and found a spot for himself.
“Su Cheng, what are you doing here?”
A surprised voice called from behind him. An impeccably dressed, handsome man approached and clapped him warmly on the shoulder.
“Senior Chu He?” Su Cheng hadn’t expected to run into someone he knew. Despite being in Tokyo for quite some time, this was the first time he'd seen Chu He.
Chu He’s family was in real estate, with branches in major cities worldwide and several offices in Tokyo. It made sense for him to attend such high-society banquets.
“I was invited,” Su Cheng explained. “Do you know who’s hosting tonight’s event?” He still hadn’t figured out who owned Tulip Mansion.
Chu He knew a bit more. “The owner is Miss Arisabella, heiress to a powerful multinational conglomerate from the Russian Federation. In these circles, she’s known as the Queen—top of the line in looks, wealth, and status.”
“Every month, Queen Bella invites the city’s elite to a banquet at Tulip Mansion. But let’s be honest, most come for her.”
“At every banquet, Bella chooses one man to share her bed with. For these rich boys, being chosen by the Queen is a badge of honor, a story to boast about for years.”
Chu He chuckled, the look of a seasoned player in his eyes.
Su Cheng sneered inwardly. With the stench of blood on Gui Fang Shenxu, this Queen Arisabella was clearly no ordinary woman. Those chosen by her probably didn’t meet a happy end.
“Even if you’re not picked by the Queen, there are plenty of other women here to ease a lonely night. It’s all consensual fun.”
Chu He drank a sip of wine, well aware that his chances with the Queen were slim, but finding company for the night was no problem.
It seemed the other guests were all here to hunt for pleasure. Su Cheng’s purpose was simpler—he was here to kill.
“The Queen is coming!”
Chu He suddenly exclaimed, his eyes burning as he gazed at the beautiful woman descending the stairs.

Su Cheng observed the woman. She was under thirty, exuding the noble, icy aura of a medieval European princess, yet her eyes brimmed with seductive charm. A casual glance from her could send a man’s blood racing, igniting primal desire.
As Queen Bella entered, she instantly became the focus of the room. The wealthy heirs swarmed around her, eager to impress, like flies drawn to a fresh kill.
But Queen Bella had no interest in these weaklings, their bodies hollowed out by indulgence. Not a single one caught her eye.
Su Cheng’s gaze met hers across the room. Their eyes locked, and sparks seemed to fly in the space between them.
Having sized him up, the Queen’s lips curled into an alluring yet cruel smile. She strode over.
Chu He, seeing the queen among queens heading his way, was so surprised he nearly spat out his wine. In the next instant, he straightened his clothes and tried to put on his most charming smile.
“Miss Bella—” he began, but his flirtatious grin froze. His eyes widened in disbelief as his worldview shattered.
Queen Bella ignored him completely, stepping up to Su Cheng. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply as if savoring his scent; a blush rose on her pale cheeks, and she wore an expression of utter delight, as though intoxicated.
“What a powerful killing intent. The blood of a strong man must taste divine. Tonight, you are mine!” The Queen licked her blood-red lips, leaned close to Su Cheng’s ear, and whispered in a tone that brooked no refusal.
Glares of jealousy and hatred shot toward Su Cheng, like a volley of arrows. No one could understand why she would choose such an unremarkable man.
“And if I refuse?” Su Cheng’s gaze darkened. The aura of danger radiating from this woman was enough to make his skin crawl, the smell of blood upon her ten times stronger than on Gui Fang Shenxu.
“You don’t have the right to refuse. But if your blood can satisfy me, perhaps I’ll be merciful enough to tell you who wants you dead.”
With that, Queen Bella turned and swept back upstairs.
Soon after, the butler-like Gui Fang Shenxu approached Su Cheng and invited him, respectfully, “Mr. Su Cheng, my mistress awaits you in her room. Please, come with me.”
The Queen’s invitation struck the assembled heirs like a bolt from the blue.
The woman they all worshipped was already waiting upstairs, having washed and prepared herself—for this man!
Why?
Were all their years of experience with women inferior to this clueless rookie?
It was maddening!
At that moment, a cold glint flashed in Su Cheng’s eyes as he followed Gui Fang Shenxu up the stairs.
Chu He stared after him in shock.
Who would have thought Su Cheng was that kind of man!
