The man’s fingers were beautiful, long and elegant at the joints. Whether deliberately or not, they brushed across her cheek, her temple, the tip of her ear...
The faintly cool sensation swept through every nerve ending in her body.
Wei Yang’s heart trembled, and her delicate body went rigid. Her fingers, hanging beside her thighs, clenched tightly.
Forcing herself to remain calm, she gritted her teeth and asked, “What exactly do you want?” Her voice trembled despite her efforts to suppress it.
Xie Yanli frowned impatiently, tugged at his tie, and undid the top two buttons of his shirt.
He lowered his eyes and fixed them unwaveringly on her. His voice was low and husky. “Spend the night with me.”
Wei Yang froze, then shook her head. “No!”
Xie Yanli suddenly laughed and forcefully pinned her against the car door. “Wei Yang, do you have the right to say no to me?”
A heavy shadow descended without warning.
Their breaths tangled together.
The man’s scorching breath was like a blazing fire, searing the woman’s tender, delicate skin.
Nearly losing her temper from anger, Wei Yang suppressed her discomfort and met those terrifying black eyes, deep as an abyss. She spoke firmly, word by word:
“Xie Yanli! Even a cornered rabbit will bite, let alone a human being.”
“A living, breathing human being!”
In the vast city of Yucheng, the Xie family was one of the most powerful aristocratic clans. Xie Yanli was the family’s sole heir, while she was merely a fallen household that had sunk into the mire. If she was willing to abandon all dignity, the Xie family would always have reason to worry.

Hearing this, the man could not help laughing. He abruptly lowered his head and leaned close to her ear.
“How would you like to bite me?”
Wei Yang was stunned at first, her mind thrown into confusion. Then, as though struck by electricity, she reached out and shoved against the solid chest before her.
Caught off guard, Xie Yanli staggered back several steps.
Seeing this, Wei Yang instinctively turned and ran. But she had taken only a few steps before she fell into a chest burning like molten lava.
“Trying to run? Hmm?”
The man narrowed his eyes, savage and wicked.
The woman trapped in his arms was unmistakably his prey. No matter how she struggled to flee, she could never escape his grasp.
A passerby walked past them.
Wei Yang wanted to call for help, but Xie Yanli’s words immediately extinguished the thought.
“Wei Yang, if you don’t want to drag an innocent person into this, you’d better stay quiet. Don’t say a word.”
Wei Yang was rendered speechless.
Only after the passerby had gone far away did she glare at him furiously.
“Xie Yanli, you were the one who asked to break up. Now you’re the one pestering me. What is this supposed to mean?”
Xie Yanli’s brows drew together deeply, and he fell silent.
He did not know what his behavior meant either. He only knew that he did not want to let her go.

Before Xie Yanli could speak, Wei Yang gave a mocking laugh.
“Can’t bear to part with me? Then why don’t you marry me?”
The next second, Xie Yanli shoved her away. His face darkened as he barked, “What makes you think you’re worthy of marrying me?”
Wei Yang froze for a moment. A sour ache slowly rose in her heart. She lowered her head, the amusement in her eyes turning into indescribable mockery.
“If you think I’m unworthy, then please stay away from me!”
“Wei Yang!”
The man exploded in fury and strode toward her.
He seized her and locked her tightly in his arms. With his other hand gripping the back of her head, he forcefully claimed her lips, relentless as an invading army storming a city.
His nimble tongue pried open her lips and teeth, like a loathsome bandit ruthlessly plundering her sweetness.
Wei Yang struggled with all her strength, but it was useless.
A trace of viciousness flashed through her eyes, and she bit down hard.
The thick taste of blood spread like a poisonous drug, almost suffocating her.
