"Dad, how could you? You clearly promised me just last week that this card was for taking me to the auction to bid on that necklace."

Yu Yangyang pouted, looking at Yu Cheng with an expression that was both arrogant and aggrieved.

"Dad, you can't go back on your word."

As she spoke, she made a move to snatch the card back from Yu Zi's hand. Unfortunately, Yu Zi had been prepared; she stepped back just as the attempt was made. Yu Yangyang stumbled and crashed onto the desk, her wails echoing through the office.

"Boo-hoo-hoo, it hurts so much! Dad, Yu Zi is bullying me! Cancel all of her cards right now!"

As Yu Yangyang's voice trailed off, Yu Zi looked at Yu Cheng with a playful, mocking expression. Yu Cheng felt only embarrassment. Looking at Yu Yangyang, who was still sprawled across the desk, he felt a flicker of disdain for this foolish daughter for the first time. Seeing her continue to make a scene, he couldn't help but snap sharply.

"Yu Yangyang, look at yourself! Do you have any shred of decorum left?"

"I think you're the one whose cards should be canceled. Go and learn from your sister. If you can't learn properly, forget about going to the auction—I’ll cut off your allowance entirely."

At these words, Yu Yangyang instantly calmed down. She stood up from the desk and looked at Yu Cheng, feeling wronged. "Dad, you can't treat me like this."

Yu Cheng’s face was etched with dissatisfaction. Even as dim-witted as she was, Yu Yangyang realized that the current situation wouldn't be resolved by throwing a tantrum.

She had originally intended to apologize and beg Yu Cheng not to remove her from her position, but a sudden thought occurred to her, and she quickly feigned a well-behaved demeanor.

"Dad, I understand. It was my fault before. Don't worry, I will follow my sister and learn properly. I promise not to embarrass you."

She was his daughter, after all; seeing her acting so obedient, Yu Cheng’s expression softened.

"As long as you know that. Alright, you two sisters should try to cultivate a good relationship. I have things to attend to, so I'm leaving."

With that, Yu Cheng left the office. Now, with only the two of them left, Yu Yangyang looked at Yu Zi with a sinister gaze.

"Sister, I will be sure to 'learn' very well."

The show was over. Yu Zi curled her lip; she knew for certain that Yu Yangyang was up to no good. She waved her hand dismissively.

"Fine, he's gone. Stop putting on an act for me. Go do whatever you want, just don't get in my way."

Yu Yangyang blinked, putting on a look of innocence. "What are you talking about, sister? I promised Dad that I would learn from you!"

*Learn properly.*

Yu Yangyang deliberately emphasized those two words.

Yu Zi couldn't be bothered to deal with such an idiot. Her methods were always the same; she had been watching them since they were children, and she was bored to death by them. Thinking of this, she looked at Yu Yangyang with a glimmer of interest and asked, "Yu Yangyang, tell me, every time you try to frame me, you end up shooting yourself in the foot. What exactly are you hoping to achieve?"

Yu Yangyang, who had been busy plotting how to trap Yu Zi, bristled instantly at these words. "Yu Zi, what nonsense are you spouting? When have I ever framed you? Don't slander me! Those things were all your own doing!"

"Heh."

Yu Zi let out a cold laugh. Realizing that talking to Yu Yangyang wouldn't yield any answers, she simply turned her attention back to the documents in front of her.

Watching this, a new plan took root in Yu Yangyang's mind. She walked straight out of Yu Zi’s office, headed to the breakroom, and brewed a cup of the cheapest instant coffee. Returning to the office, she handed the cup over.

"Sister, this is coffee I brewed myself. Please, have a taste."
