“The man named Mo? Did he give his name?”

Qin Changqing shuddered. As far as he knew, there was only one man named Mo in Qian City—Mo Han.

Could that bastard have come looking for him in person?

“He said his name is Mo Feng, and that he’s from the Northern Mo family,” the secretary replied.

Qin Changqing let out a long breath.

As long as Mo Han himself had not come knocking, everything was fine.

He had personally witnessed Mo Han killing someone. He had never doubted that Mo Han would dare to kill him. If Mo Han were truly enraged, killing him would be no more difficult than crushing an ant.

Qin Changqing had always been perfectly aware of that.

“Let him in.”

Then he suddenly realized that the visitor came from the Northern Mo family and immediately guessed his identity. He hurriedly stopped the secretary. “Take me to meet him.”

As soon as he left the reception room, Qin Changqing saw a young master sitting on the reception sofa. Behind him stood a burly man.

The young master looked to be twenty-four or twenty-five. His face was filled with arrogance, enough to make people instinctively shrink back.

The burly man was even more intimidating. He wore a cold, expressionless face.

“Young Master Mo, I’m Qin Changqing. May I ask what brings you here?” Qin Changqing approached Mo Feng, careful not to let down his guard.

The Northern Mo family was a truly powerful clan. In their eyes, the Qin family was no different from a colony of ants.

“I imagine you’ve already guessed why I’m here, Patriarch Qin,” Mo Feng said indifferently, looking up at him.

“I wouldn’t dare presume to speculate,” Qin Changqing replied, lowering his head. He had more or less guessed Mo Feng’s purpose, but he did not dare say it aloud.

“You’re rather interesting.” Mo Feng smiled and rose to his feet.

“I want everything you know about Mo Han. The more detailed, the better. You must deliver it to me by tomorrow.”

With that, he turned and walked away.

“Oh, right. I’m staying at the Sheraton Hotel.”

After taking a few steps, Mo Feng added this before leaving.

Only after Mo Feng and his companion had disappeared did Qin Changqing finally relax.

Just now, both Mo Feng and the burly man beside him had exerted tremendous pressure on him—so much that he could barely breathe.

“President Qin, they seem to have come specifically to deal with Mo Han,” the secretary said, somewhat excitedly.

She knew about the feud between Mo Han and the Qin family. During this period, Qin Changqing had been so focused on dealing with Mo Han that he had neglected the company’s actual business.

She, too, hoped Qin Changqing could avenge Qin Haoran soon and devote himself once more to developing the company.

Poor company performance could be devastating for its employees as well.

“I know. Have Li Xianwu come see me,” Qin Changqing said, heading toward his office.

Mo Feng’s arrival had given him hope in the midst of his despair.

Before long, Li Xianwu arrived at Qin Changqing’s office.

“President Qin.”

“Sit.”

Qin Changqing pointed to the chair beside him.

Li Xianwu sat down. Qin Changqing took out a cigarette, lit it, and exhaled a ring of smoke.

“I heard your son was crippled by Mo Han?” Qin Changqing asked, looking at Li Xianwu.

Li Xianwu trembled. Unsure of what Qin Changqing meant, he could only nod.

Anger flashed in his eyes. “That murderous bastard was too ruthless. Sooner or later, he’ll die a horrible death!”

The words came straight from Li Xianwu’s heart.

Every night, he dreamed of the day Mo Han would die miserably.

Mo Han had severed the Li family’s bloodline. His hatred was boundless.

“There’s an opportunity before you now. Do you want to seize it?” Qin Changqing asked casually.

Li Xianwu looked up at him, uncertain of what he meant.

Still, he had a feeling Qin Changqing could not possibly have anything good in mind.

After all, he himself desperately wanted to kill Mo Han and avenge his son. But in front of Qin Changqing, Li Xianwu did not dare act recklessly.

“What opportunity are you referring to, President Qin?” he asked, feigning confusion.

“You know about the Northern Mo family, don’t you?”

Qin Changqing turned his chair slightly and continued, “They are Mo Han’s original family.

“You should know that Mo Han came from the Northern Mo family and was originally an abandoned son. Yet he destroyed one of the Mo family’s major operations.”

“Destroyed one of the Mo family’s operations? What do you mean?” Li Xianwu was utterly confused.

“You didn’t know that?” Qin Changqing sneered, looking at him. “You know Fifth Master, don’t you?”

Li Xianwu nodded. “The king of Qian City’s underworld? Mo Han defeated him not long ago.”

“Fifth Master is a member of the Mo family. The family sent him here to control Qian City’s underworld and claim its share of the profits,” Qin Changqing explained.

Qin Changqing had his own sources and methods. There were certain matters whose inner workings he still knew.

“Fifth Master was from the Mo family?” Li Xianwu trembled. To him, this was enormous news.

It was not just him. In all of Qian City, very few people knew that Fifth Master belonged to the Mo family.

In that case, Mo Han’s defeat of Fifth Master truly meant that he had destroyed one of the Mo family’s major enterprises.

“You mean the Mo family will come after Mo Han?” Li Xianwu ventured.

“They already have.”

Qin Changqing narrowed his eyes. “Whether they’ll actually kill Mo Han is difficult to say. However…”

He beckoned Li Xianwu closer. Li Xianwu understood and moved nearer.

Only then did Qin Changqing lower his voice and say, “We can create an opportunity for him to kill Mo Han—or an opportunity for Mo Han to kill him.”

Li Xianwu’s heart jolted. Qin Changqing was truly ruthless.

If the man from the Mo family did not kill Mo Han, they could find a way to make Mo Han kill him instead.

Once that happened, the Mo family and Mo Han would become mortal enemies. They would only need to sit back and watch the spectacle to avenge their own son.

Given the situation, it was already impossible for them to kill Mo Han themselves and avenge their sons.

As long as they could watch Mo Han die miserably before their eyes, that would be enough.

“Do you already have a plan, President Qin?” Li Xianwu asked.

“I have two preliminary ideas.”

Qin Changqing straightened in his chair and pondered for a moment before speaking.

“First, we flatter Mo Han extravagantly in front of Mo Feng, using Mo Han’s strength to belittle Mo Feng. If Mo Feng is as arrogant and conceited as he appears, he certainly won’t be able to accept the fact that an abandoned son of the Mo family could be stronger than him. In his fury, he’ll surely go and kill Mo Han.

“The second plan is this: if the first one fails, we’ll make Mo Han kill Mo Feng.”

“The second plan may be difficult.” Li Xianwu shook his head. Based on what he knew of Mo Han, he doubted they could provoke him into acting.

Qin Changqing sneered. “Do you think I intend to provoke Mo Han the same way we provoke Mo Feng?”

“Isn’t that what you meant?” Li Xianwu asked, genuinely puzzled.

Qin Changqing snorted. “I’ve already met Mo Feng. One look at him tells me he’s a lecherous man. He must be very interested in beautiful women.

“Mo Han’s wife, Li An’an, and her younger sister, Li Xiaoxiao, are known as the Two Beauties of the Li family—the most beautiful women in Qian City, aren’t they?

“As long as we give Mo Feng their photographs and personal information, he’ll certainly take an interest. If he dares lay a hand on either Li An’an or Li Xiaoxiao, Mo Han will never let him off.”

“Brilliant, President Qin!”

Li Xianwu gave him an admiring thumbs-up.

“From here on, we’ll arrange things as follows…”

Narrowing his eyes, Qin Changqing began explaining his vicious plan to Li Xianwu.
