Chapter 155: Asking for an Admission Ticket

At that moment, everyone thought Mo Han would certainly never dare accept the Dragon Slayer’s challenge.
He might even have already fled Qian City.
After all, the Dragon Slayer was an Earth-tier powerhouse, renowned throughout the north.
Mo Han, on the other hand, was merely the Mo family’s abandoned son. What strength could he possibly possess?
Even if he had encountered some extraordinary opportunity, he could not have grown that powerful.
If Mo Han dared to accept the challenge, he would simply be throwing his life away!
Yet Mo Han had actually accepted it.
He had taken up the Dragon Slayer’s challenge.
The news instantly caused an uproar.
“Mo Han actually accepted the Dragon Slayer’s challenge?”
“Indeed. He truly does not know what fear is.”
“Hmph. That brat must be tired of living. He wants the Dragon Slayer to send him to the grave!”
“You’re all mistaken. Whether he accepts the Dragon Slayer’s challenge or not, he has no choice. No matter how far he runs, the Mo family will never let him go. Besides, his family is still in Qian City. Surely he cannot flee while taking his entire family with him.”
“That’s true. From the moment he killed Mo Feng, his death was already fated.”
For a time, nearly everyone believed that Mo Han was doomed.
Only Fifth Master and the others, who knew Mo Han’s true strength, remained completely unconcerned.
The Dragon Slayer was an Earth-tier powerhouse and undeniably formidable, but they did not believe he could defeat Mo Han.
In particular, Tyrant Blade had received Mo Han’s secret martial manual. His strength was now more than twice what it had been before. He even felt confident that he could face the Dragon Slayer himself.
But the northern martial artists knew nothing about Mo Han.
In their eyes, Mo Han was certain to die. Tomorrow, the Dragon Slayer would surely kill him with a single punch.
Once Mo Han died, Qian City’s underworld would once again become a territory without an owner.
The Mo family would have a difficult time reclaiming control of Qian City’s underworld.
Such a massive prize had already stirred the interest of quite a few northern family heads. They would certainly compete with the Mo family for it.
More and more northern powerhouses arrived in Qian City. They had come not only to watch the spectacle, but also to lay claim to Qian City’s underworld.
The Mo family had extracted no small amount of benefit from this place in the past.

As more and more people arrived in Qian City, the tense atmosphere quickly intensified.
When the Dragon Slayer learned that Mo Han had accepted the challenge, a cold smile appeared in his eyes.
Mo Han was still far too young.
By accepting his challenge, Mo Han had doomed himself. Tomorrow, under the gaze of the crowd, the Dragon Slayer would turn him into a stepping stone for the Jiang family’s return to power over Qian City’s underworld.
The following day, even more people arrived in Qian City.
The atmosphere grew increasingly tense.
The entire pharmaceutical factory was shrouded in gloom.
Everyone knew that if Mo Han died in battle that day, the pharmaceutical factory would certainly be finished.
Without Mo Han’s protection, the Mo family would never let such a vast and tempting prize slip away.
Even Li Qilang, Xu Jing, and the others were somewhat worried.
After all, their opponent was a Grandmaster.
Before they had begun learning martial arts from Mo Han, they had known little about Grandmasters.
They had possessed no real understanding of what level a Grandmaster represented.
But after Tyrant Blade and Fifth Master explained it to them, they became increasingly concerned for Mo Han.
Among all those on Mo Han’s side, only Tyrant Blade and Fifth Master remained free of that gloom.
The final battle was to take place on the small island in the center of Red Maple Lake, at eleven in the morning.
At nine, Fifth Master and Tyrant Blade personally took charge, leading Xu Jing and the others to guard the entrance.
This was Mo Han’s suggestion.
So many powerful figures had come from the north, and every one of them was extremely wealthy. How could they be allowed to watch the final battle for free?
“The admission fee is five hundred thousand.”
Tyrant Blade planted his long saber on the ground at the entrance. Every northerner who arrived was charged five hundred thousand.
“Five hundred thousand? Have you all gone insane from poverty?” a martial artist from the north shouted angrily.
Feeling the powerful aura radiating from the man, Xu Jing and the others felt somewhat uneasy as they repeated the demand.
“If you don’t want to watch, then get lost!”
Tyrant Blade raised his long saber and struck the stone before him with a loud clang. The stone shattered instantly.
“Are you Tyrant Blade of the Mo family?” The northern martial artist recognized him, surprise appearing on his face.

Tyrant Blade’s strength shocked him.
He remembered meeting Tyrant Blade ten years earlier. Back then, Tyrant Blade had not been nearly so powerful.
He had never expected that after ten years apart, Tyrant Blade’s entire presence would have transformed so completely.
“I am Tyrant Blade, but I severed all ties with the Mo family long ago. If you want to enter and watch the final battle today, scan the code and pay!”
Tyrant Blade gave a cold snort. His imposing aura burst forth, sending the gravel on the ground flying without any wind. His might soared like a rainbow piercing the heavens.
The northern martial artist’s heart trembled. Though unwilling, he obediently paid.
“Blade Lord, you’re incredible!” Xu Jing and the others gave him a thumbs-up. If Tyrant Blade had not stepped forward, they would never have dared demand money from those northern powerhouses.
“Five hundred thousand for admission? Why don’t you just rob us?”
“You’re on the verge of death, yet you’re still thinking about making money. Small places really are small places—every one of you is dirt-poor!”
“I refuse to believe you can stop me!”
Several of the others were tough characters as well, and naturally they were unwilling to pay five hundred thousand for nothing.
Their money had not fallen from the sky.
However, after several northern martial artists attempted to force their way through and were beaten to the ground by Tyrant Blade with the back of his saber, the others could only swallow their resentment and scan the code to pay.
“Hmph. You actually thought you could watch my master’s duel for free? Do you really think my master’s appearance fee is that cheap?” Tyrant Blade sneered as he looked at the resentful northern martial artists.
“Your master?”
Everyone’s hearts trembled.
Tyrant Blade was already this powerful. Just how formidable could that man, Mo Han, be?
If he truly possessed the strength to fight the Dragon Slayer, then their five hundred thousand had not been wasted after all.
The crowd consoled themselves with that thought, took the admission tickets handed out by Xu Jing and the others, and boarded the small boats prepared for them.
“The Dragon Slayer is here!”
Just then, a northern martial artist suddenly spoke.
Everyone turned to look and saw the Dragon Slayer approaching with several other martial artists from the Jiang family.
“Stop!”
Tyrant Blade gave a cold shout, his gaze chilling.
“Each person pays an admission fee of five hundred thousand!”
