Qin Haoran was visibly agitated. It had been a long time since he had seen a woman so stirred up. He lunged forward, intent on forcing himself upon her.

At that desperate moment, Li An'an, having regained some of her strength, reacted instinctively. She drew her knee up sharply, striking Qin Haoran squarely between the legs.

He grunted in pain, his face contorted, hands instinctively covering himself as agony seized him.

Seizing the opportunity, Li An'an leapt off the bed and dashed toward the door.

After so much effort to get Li An'an under his control, how could Qin Haoran let her escape? Gritting his teeth against the throbbing pain, he chased after her.

Just as Li An'an reached for the door, Qin Haoran caught up, grabbed her hair, and yanked her back.

"Wretched woman, you hit pretty hard, didn’t you?" he snarled, his face twisted with malice. He struck her across the face, the slap echoing in the room.

Tears streamed down Li An'an’s cheeks as fear overwhelmed her heart.

Dragging her back inside, Qin Haoran was just about to force her further when—

Boom!

A thunderous crash came from behind. Qin Haoran whirled around to see the hotel room door smashed open and a figure stepping inside.

It was Mo Han.

"You—how did you get in here?" Qin Haoran stammered, his eyes flickering with panic as he instinctively let go of Li An'an.

He had heard all too well about what Mo Han had done to Yu Hu just a couple of days ago.

"Mo Han!" Li An'an rushed to his side, never before feeling so safe.

"Mama, the bad man was bullying you. Daddy and I have come to help you punish the bad man!" Xiaoxiao said, turning her little head in the direction of Li An'an’s voice.

"Yes, Xiaoxiao, good girl. Mama is alright now," Li An'an sobbed softly.

"It's alright. You're safe," Mo Han soothed her, gently patting her back.

Seeing that Mo Han ignored him, Qin Haoran tried to slip out unnoticed. But in the next moment, a burly, fierce-looking man blocked the doorway.

The coldness in the man's eyes made Qin Haoran instinctively retreat into the room.

"Looks like dislocating your arm last time wasn’t enough for you to learn your lesson," Mo Han said, a flash of ruthlessness in his eyes as he looked at the fleeing Qin Haoran.

Qin Haoran's heart trembled. "Mo Han, I’m the eldest young master of the Qin family! If you lay a hand on me, you’ll never have a foothold in Qian City!"

"Oh? The Qin family is so powerful? I’m simply terrified," Mo Han mocked, his gaze cold.

"Mo Han, the Qin family is a major clan in Qian City. Do you really dare make us your enemy?" Qin Haoran threatened, retreating step by step, though fear choked his words.

"Who do you think the Qin family is? If the Chief Instructor so much as gives the word, your entire family will be doomed," Ding Si interjected coldly, an icy aura emanating from him.

"And who are you?" Qin Haoran blurted out.

"You’re not qualified to know who I am," Ding Si replied with disdain.

He was only waiting for Mo Han’s command. At a word, he would cripple Qin Haoran, or even kill him outright.

"Break his arms and legs," Mo Han ordered without another glance, scooping up his daughter and leading his wife out of the room.

Upon receiving Mo Han’s order, a fierce glint flashed in Ding Si’s eyes. He strode forward and seized Qin Haoran’s arms.

"Mo Han, I was wrong! I was wrong!" Qin Haoran cried, struggling desperately but unable to break free. He looked pleadingly at Mo Han's retreating figure. "Mo Han! Mo Han! Please, spare me—ah!"

Mo Han didn’t even turn his head. Qin Haoran had crossed his line; there was no forgiveness to be found.

Ding Si ignored Qin Haoran’s pleas, twisted his hands—

Crack!

With the sickening sound of bone splintering, Qin Haoran’s arms were wrenched and twisted grotesquely out of shape.

He screamed in agony, his complexion turning deathly pale.

But it was not over.

Ding Si raised his right foot and smashed it down onto Qin Haoran’s shins.

Crack! Crack!

Both shinbones were shattered beneath the brutal kicks.

Qin Haoran passed out from the agony, but when he collapsed onto the floor, the pain jolted him back to consciousness.

The room was filled with nothing but his piercing, wretched screams.

Just outside the room, Li An’an shivered slightly. She glanced back at Qin Haoran writhing and howling on the floor, a trace of pity stirring in her heart.

But she knew he had brought this upon himself.

And since it wasn’t Mo Han who had personally dealt the blows, but a man from the War Department, she felt no real concern.

Ding Si approached again, stomping down hard on Qin Haoran's chest, snapping several ribs.

He could sense the murderous intent burning in Mo Han’s heart; the punishment was never going to be lenient.

With broken ribs and damaged organs, Qin Haoran spewed a mouthful of blood and finally lost consciousness completely.

Even if he survived, he would be a ruined man for life—unless he somehow obtained an immortal elixir for healing, which not even Mo Han could procure, let alone anyone else.

Mo Han and his family reached the armored vehicle outside the hotel. Soon, Ding Si joined them.

"Let’s go home," Mo Han said, opening the car door for Li An’an.

A look of sorrow came over her face as she shook her head. "We have no home to return to."

"What happened?" Mo Han asked.

"This morning, Grandfather and Uncle forcibly took back the pharmaceutical factory. I refused, so they expelled our whole family from the clan. They even sent Li Bing and his men to drive my parents out, reclaiming the old house as well. Li Bing took the opportunity to drug me and brought me here," Li An’an wept.

Mo Han’s eyes blazed with fury.

The Li family. Li Bing.

Murderous intent flared within him once more.

"And all my money has been transferred to the company account. They must have already changed the account ownership. We have nothing left—not a penny, not a home," Li An’an continued, her voice trembling. "But my parents still have a little money. We’ll just rent a place for now."

"The Li family deserves to die," Mo Han said, his eyes narrowing, the death sentence already pronounced in his heart.

"Chief Instructor, let me handle this," Ding Si offered from the driver’s seat.

Mo Han nodded. "I want all the Li family’s assets transferred to my wife’s name. Can you do it?"

"No problem. The Li family has long since declined. There’s no need for the War Department to get involved. With my own connections, I can easily take care of them," Ding Si replied with confidence.

He was known as the God of Slaughter, and there were few powerful families in Qian City who hadn’t heard his name.

All it would take was a casual move from him, and the Li family would be finished.
