As soon as he finished speaking, several bodyguards behind him rushed toward Mo Han and Li An'an.

With Mo Han by her side, Li An'an was not at all afraid of these bodyguards.

Mo Han was a peerless fighter, capable of taking on a hundred thugs alone—she felt completely at ease.

“Courting death!” Mo Han gave a cold snort. Without waiting for the bodyguards to get close, she stepped forward in a flash.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The moment she moved, the four bodyguards didn’t even have a chance to resist before being sent flying by Mo Han.

Watching his four bodyguards writhing in pain on the ground, Li Xianwu was struck with terror.

These were mercenaries he had hired at great expense from the Middle East, killers from the battlefield.

Yet, in front of Mo Han, the four of them couldn’t even put up a fight.

How could Mo Han be so terrifying?

“Go back and tell Li Bing—I want both of his hands!” Mo Han glared at Li Xianwu, her voice cold and sharp.

Li Bing had kidnapped his wife and handed her over to Qin Haoran; there was no way he would let him off easily.

“You, you, you…” Li Xianwu stuttered, his voice trembling, the murderous look in Mo Han’s eyes chilling him to the core.

Mo Han raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face. “Did you not hear me tell you to get lost?”

Li Xianwu staggered from the blow, his heart filled with both anger and fear.

But now, he dared not stay a moment longer. He hurriedly called the bodyguards still lying on the ground and got them into the car.

“Didn’t he say he wanted to buy the formula for the Rejuvenation Pill from you?” Xu Fang asked, puzzled.

“Mom, with the Li family’s character, do you really think they’d pay? Besides, by tomorrow, the entire Li Corporation will be in our hands. Even if they sincerely wanted to buy it, I wouldn’t sell it to them,” Mo Han explained.

“Xiao Han, are you saying Lord Ding is going to deal with the Li family?” The implications in Mo Han’s words were immense, and Li Xiande couldn’t help but feel a jolt of shock.

“Yes. Since the Li family dared to betray me, they can’t blame me for retaliating.” Mo Han’s tone was resolute.

The Li family had shamelessly taken back the pharmaceutical factory; now, he would make sure all of the Li Corporation’s assets would be transferred to Li An'an.

Li Xiande said nothing. Though Li Zhentong had been cruel, he was still the foster father who’d raised him. He didn’t know what to say.

Xu Fang, on the other hand, was different. Hearing Mo Han’s words, she asked excitedly, “Xiao Han, are you saying Lord Ding is willing to help us get the pharmaceutical factory back?”

“Not just the factory—we want the entire Li Corporation,” Mo Han replied.

“The entire Li Corporation!” Li Fang’s heart pounded. Although the Li Corporation had been declining these past two years, it was still worth two to three hundred million.

If Lord Ding really helped them take over the Li Corporation, their family would become multimillionaires overnight.

Li An'an didn’t say anything, but she, too, felt a surge of anticipation.

Today, the Li family had completely exhausted any sense of belonging she’d felt toward them.

...

At this moment, having left Wangtian Peak, Li Xianwu was filled with both anger and despair.

He hadn’t expected Mo Han to be so overwhelmingly powerful.

There was no way he could bring Mo Han and Li An'an to the Sakura Club before tomorrow.

Feeling agitated, Li Xianwu called his wife to ask about their son’s condition, then headed straight to the hospital.

He planned to check on his son before returning to discuss a strategy with his father.

Li Bing’s surgery had been successful; his legs were only fractured and could be healed.

After seeing Li Bing, Li Xianwu returned to the company.

As soon as he entered the office, he saw Li Zhentong slumped in his chair, utterly dejected. Li Cheng’an was startled and hurriedly asked, “Dad, what’s wrong?”

He had never seen his father so lost and despondent.

“Our Li family is finished…” Li Zhentong raised his head with a vacant look and murmured.

“Dad, are you sick?” Li Xianwu frowned, thinking his father was talking nonsense.

Even after selling off some assets at a loss to compensate Xu Biao today, the Li family shouldn’t be finished.

“The Chen family has made their move. They’re coming after our Li Corporation,” Li Zhentong mumbled lifelessly.

“What? We haven’t offended the Chen family—why would they target us?” Li Xianwu’s face changed dramatically; he couldn’t understand why the Chens would come after them.

Li Zhentong said nothing. He, too, had no idea how the Li family could have offended the Chens.

“Dad, what are their demands?” Li Xianwu pressed.

“They want our entire Li Corporation,” Li Zhentong replied.

A surge of fury rose in Li Xianwu’s chest. He said in a deep voice, “The Chen family is going too far! Even if we fight them to the bitter end, we can’t simply hand over the entire Li Corporation to them!”

Li Zhentong gave a bitter smile and shook his head. “It’s useless. All the evidence from that incident three years ago is now in the Chen family’s hands. They’re using it to blackmail us.”

Li Xianwu staggered, his face turning deathly pale.

If that incident three years ago were made public, he and his father wouldn’t just go to jail—their lives would very likely be forfeit.

“How could this happen? How did they find out?” Li Xianwu’s voice shook.

Li Zhentong shook his head. “Transfer the Li Corporation to the Chen family. Maybe then we’ll be able to survive a few more years.”

Li An'an nodded. In order to stay alive, even if he felt furious and unwilling, he had to accept his fate.

“Dad, I suspect the Chen family is helping Mo Han get revenge!” Li Xianwu suddenly recalled what Xu Fang had said earlier.

Li Zhentong was stunned and looked up at Li Xianwu.

Li Xianwu continued, “Earlier, when I took people to capture Mo Han, I heard Xu Fang say that the Chen family gave that mountain-top villa at Wangtian Peak to a big shot, and that person then gave it to Mo Han. I asked Li Xiande, and he said Mo Han is friends with that big shot, someone even the Chen family tries to curry favor with.”

Li Zhentong was shaken. He sat up straight and stared at Li Xianwu. “Are you sure all of this is true?”

Li Xianwu nodded heavily. “Yes. Their whole family has already moved in, and that Mo Han is extremely skilled. The four bodyguards I brought didn’t even get close before he took them down!”

A look of disbelief flashed in Li Zhentong’s eyes. It seemed that, just as Qin Haoran had said, Mo Han was not truly useless, but had been pretending all along.

“Could it be that he pretended to be a good-for-nothing all this time just to get his hands on the Li Corporation?”

As soon as the thought arose, Li Zhentong shook his head, finding it unlikely.

He believed Li Xianwu’s earlier words more: Mo Han was mainly seeking revenge for their forceful repossession of the pharmaceutical factory.

“Let’s go—take me to their house. I’m going to beg them!” Li Zhentong said.

“Dad, if that’s really the case, I doubt they’ll forgive us, especially since we drove their family out of the old house today,” Li Xianwu shook his head.

“If it comes to it, I’ll get down on my knees and beg Li Xiande. I raised him for decades—I don’t believe he’s forgotten that debt!” Li Zhentong said harshly.

He knew Li Xiande very well; after all, he’d raised him himself and understood his character better than anyone.

As long as he could swallow his pride and kneel before Li Xiande’s family, he believed Li Xiande would surely listen to him.

Li Xianwu nodded in agreement. He also thought their only hope now was to beg Mo Han for mercy, or else they would lose everything.
